Crazy idea maybe, but I ve been going around to several paint shops to see about getting my silver two toned like the factory. Quotes have been 3500 to 5000! So was thinking that if someone with a black SSR who would like a silver top half , we could swap hood,mirrors,roofs, bedcovers, and roof cover panels. That would leave only a very small area left to paint, just the narrow strip above the ridge line and the a pillars. Feasable? ? Any one who has wanted a two tone interested?

That's actually a pretty cool idea ...... I have a yellow that I want to paint the upper black but don't think I can find anyone with a black that want's a yellow top half. Keep this post active now and then and you might get lucky finding someone.

Yeah, I have heard that esp. with th black . But it its not all of them for sure. If I can't find anyone I will probably just do some pinstriping. I savin my big $ for the supercharger this spring..
