The Autoshow in Motion will be at fedex field. It runs from Thrusday May 12 to Sunday May 15th. I am going to register for Sunday the 15th at 11:00am. I would like to get a group of SSR's together to drive up there for this event. We can meet somewhere for breakfast first then go up there. Just let me know.

For those of you that Don't know what this is. It is a car sow nad test drive. This allows the public to come and test drive GM vehicles on a designed course. It is fun.

But the best thing is when you roll up in a SSR and you see everyones look on there face. It would make a great priceless commercial.

:ssr I was thinking Jaspers or Golden Corral in Largo. They both are not that far from the stadium. Or we could do Bob Evans on 301 in Bowie. :ssr

I didn't know you had to sign up - my dealer gave me a couple passes to this thing today, but they're still in my SSR which is being worked on.

How do we sign up? Unfortunately I'm doubting I can make Sunday as I have rehearsals Sundays 12-4 (I'm in a rock band, dontchaknow)... If I go saturday I'll tell them - hey, the rest of us will show up tomorrow =0)

Simple answer....Drive the Vette and pull the SSR or drive the SSR and leave the Vette. Simple eh?

Take the SSR. You will get more looks in the SSR. Most people there most likely will not have seen a SSR on the Road.

My bad for the confusion here. I will be driving the SSR to the event. The question is whether to drive the SSR or the Vette at the event. They only give you the chance to drive one of them. :cuss

Crap - well, I'll have to go Saturday anyways, I forgot also that in addition to rehearsal, I've got a family dinner to attend Sunday (and those are usually at 2 or 3)

One thing though, I can't register yet because my passes (with codes) are still in my in-shop SSR - will I miss out on stuff if I don't register several days beforehand?

And a question - if I bring 2 people with me, can they *share* a driver's pass if we get to drive more than one car? Not that 3 of us will fit in the SSR

I remember I used a single pass to drive both a 300M and a PT Cruiser when they first came out, at a similar event held for Chrysler.

When you get there, there sould be a guy by the name of jerry driving a red 05 there. Last time I talked to him he said he will be there saturday morning.

I will be coming from Chruch so what ever is easy for everyone. I have been watching the doppler rader and I hope that the rain stays away. We will see what happens.
