I started missing the my 2003 Yellow SSR as soon as i traded it.

Picked up a new 2005 Silver SSR last Thursday. Was going to hold off and watch the prices but winter is convertable season in Texas (63 and sunny tomorrow) and I just did not want to miss it!

I hope to get to put some miles on it this weekend and report back on the new LS2 engine.

Steve T,

Is that SL65 the same one that MB just put out? Great Car. Send me a PM to let me know how you like it. I just finished reading about it in Car and Driver. I love the MB G55. That is what I would love to get some day. :)

You want to adopt any kids. :lol

41chevcoe - The funny thing is I drive my 2003 Silverado 2500 Duramax 4x4 most of the time! I added a Banks exhaust and use a Hypertech programmer and this thing will slight the tires up thru 3rd!

Davidn - Hurry up and get that SSR! You, Ron and I can crash the next Prowler event :party

Brownhornet - Not adopting any more kids, trying get the last of mine out of the house now!!! :seeya

The SL65 is a beast, it is really the wife's car, she traded her 04 SL600 and her 04 E55 in on it. I am only allowed to drive it when she rides with me. I think the big magazine cover type smokey burn out I did in her SL600 on the way to trade it in might have spoiled my chances of going solo in the SL65...

I feel so bad for you. :)

You could have donated the E55 to the poor and needdy. (Hi I am poor and Needdy) :)

I am thinking of getting something for my girlfriend. We need to get rid of the Jeep wrangler.

My daily driver is a 2004 Duramax diesel dually 4x4 crew cab , wonder if Banks exhaust and Hypertech would break loose all 6 wheels !!!!!!!!

Richard,

It would be a black-tie in reverse...LOL.. I wanted to paint the top part black but there are too many moving parts and to do it right it would cost too much...

i have ford Harley truck and harley V-rod in the same Paint set up.....

the cost for a good paint job is around 2k.. that is for remveing all lights and Doing it right.....
