I've known for some time that one of Ilsa's backup lights didn't work, even with a new bulb. The other night, I was backing up in a tight situation at night and discovered that neither of them was working. The fuse is fine. What should I try next?

Check for corrosion in the bulb sockets. Check also that the harness connector for these lights is attached tightly. Might be tough to see but it is part of the rear bumper to body harness with a plug in the area just below the left taillight. Are your rear side markers operating? They are part of the same harness.
