Only 2300 miles on the clock ?? Someone is willing to pay any amount to keep the slingshot yellow off the road. Might of been an Uber associate. .Just say’n
Uber Associate/Driver said you remove the Cargo Cover ... install wooden benches on each, then you remove the Tailgate and install portable steps so the Uber riders can get up in the open air bed. Single passenger seat rider pays triple rate to ride in Air Condition or Heated Cabin depending on winter or summer !!! >:) >:) >:) As seen on TV !!!

I watched a re-run of BJ late last night just to see it and it was just pure stock, nothing added that I could see, Clean needless to say and it did have chrome wheels. They did not really show any interior pics, engine bay seemed pure stock also. The Red one had some ghost flames. Red had 18k miles, one expects to drive a red and perhaps the yellow owner was too embarrassed with his choice of color thus the low miles:laugh:

You folks can "joke" about what the SSR's are selling for at auctions...Barrett Jackson is the "Nana Land" of collector vehicle auctions but that's where the public start seeing the prices go up on certain collector vehicles and the SSR is going to start to come into it's own very soon..........(but I will agree....yellow is for cabs & school buses) :surprise:

SSRs at Barrett-Jackson

There must be a reason for that price. You drop 50k for an investment, not a weekend ride. Does anybody have pictures or info on this? Maybe it was own by somebody famous, like Doophus.....
$50K plus the buyer premium is strong money for the yellow one. A 2005 Aqua Blur with less than 100 miles on it sold for $44K last month at the Mecum Indy auction. That one was "like new." This yellow one was a local two-owner car, the second (consignor) was not a celebrity but a local collector. That car had sat unused for quite a period of time prior to this auction, and had only traveled 350 miles in the last 13 years. The date codes on the tires were on the inside sidewalls. It also came from the factory with silver running boards.

The red 2004 looked clean and hammered for probably what it is was worth on the open market. Add the buyer premium and it does not look like a great deal. It may have been consigned by a local Subaru dealer based on attached stickers.
