found a fuse underneath the red battery box under the hood, with a fuse connection and a fuse # 6A250V, connected to a red wire. It was disconnected, does anyone know what it is for?

Sounds like someone was using the "Jump Box" as a connection point for some accessory that was removed before you got the truck. Possibly a Battery trickle charger?

Where do the white wires from the fuse go? The red wire looks like it could go to ground or could have plugged into another connector which is no longer there. Not enough information here.
If you fill out your profile we might find someone near you that could help tack down the issue. Without further information we are stranded.

@LennyA, like they said---Consider clicking on the Colored Letter/Picture, top far right corner, go down to "Account Settings", click, and fill in your information. Especially your LOCATION, like the rest of us. When you finish click the "SAVE" box.
