found a fuse underneath the red battery box under the hood, with a fuse connection and a fuse # 6A250V, connected to a red wire. It was disconnected, does anyone know what it is for?

Sounds like someone was using the "Jump Box" as a connection point for some accessory that was removed before you got the truck. Possibly a Battery trickle charger?

Like Dwight (@BlueStreak) said, looks like someone added something and deleted something. Not stock.

Can you chase down the wire(s) on the other end to see where they go?

Where do the white wires from the fuse go? The red wire looks like it could go to ground or could have plugged into another connector which is no longer there. Not enough information here.
