I drove an '05 ssr and the only thing I liked about it was it seemed to have a little extra room between the door panel and seat buttons. On my '04 I cannot get my hand down between the panel and seat to make adjustments. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas, other than ordering an '05 door panel, such as heating the panel and pushing it out for clearance?

I don't find the '05 panel space anything to write home about since it is still pretty tight. Since you can't get your eyeballs on them unless you open the door, it would be my stance that installing new door panels is an 80% waste of time +/- 20% 3-sigma.

Does your left knee still hit the door?

:party I own a 03 & 05 SSR. more room on drivers side for feet also. My 03 mats are 2" narrow in my 05. sure feels like more room at knee level also. Cab up is definitly less road noise at cruising speed 50 to 75 mph. Both equiped the same.05 does not have the saddel bags or cargonet. wouldnot had carpet in back but had to to get color pkg with running boards colored looks fantastic with chrome wheels. :willy: :seeya
