Just got back from the dealer. Signed paper to buy my '05 6 liter 6 speed SSR. Should be driving it home Thursday. I can hardly wait.. Got it for about $1500 under invoice thanks to the GM loyalty rebate - thanks GM!

Did you get it $1,500 under invoice (the dealer's cost) or $1,500 under sticker price (MSRP) ???

Congratulations ART,
You're gonna luv this ride. I luv mine even if I can't, don't, won't, noway,uh uh drive it in the snow. Guess I have a little too much respect for what it is (a brand new classic muscle machine). Mine is scheduled for body and paint mods in a few weeks. I'll do it at my leisure, but it'll be ready for spring for sure.

You did well , have to think the dealers will hesitate to stock even the 2005s and make little or even perhaps loose money
