real technical huh.... there is a 2 or 3" tall x 24" wide plastic piece located below the grill what is it for and do we need it. mine fell of at 60 mph and ther isnt much felt

air dam

yes you need it. it helps getting air up to radiator. mine came off my 03 they bolted it on that time. no problems. It had those push plastic rivet things holding it on that was no good. :thumbs :flag :seeya
