Hi topjimmy,

Sorry to hear about your issues and flat too. :mad

On a good note: Chevrolet has set up a phone bank where employees from the plant contact new SSR owners and get their feedback. I think that it is a great idea and it should help with addressing some of the issues/ problems that the customers might be experiencing much faster.

You make the voltage gauge being pegged as a common malady. Mine is pegged all the time and the only other note I've seen in this forum was somebody who stated that his/her dealer's fix was to replace the entire gauge package. Do you have any more insight to the problem? Thanks in advance.

I dont have near the issues early ssr owners have, and I love this thing. The gauge problem is common with electrical style gauge. I am thinking pillar pod or gauge replacment in stock location ( havent measured yet). Oil temp water temp possibly tire pressure moniter. Sorry almost forgot mechanical gauges. Has anyone else done this. :)

Guages

You will have to replace all of them. They are on 1 circuit board. the std 2 1/8" gauges fit just fine see my ssr pics. I had volt, boost, and fuel pressure put in mine autometer has some with the brush chrome look. I thought they looked very good there. I think if you used a pod it would be in your line of vision too much if they stuck out like in my last SS truck. :thumbs
