I'm looking at various convertibles and really like the SSR. I'm 6 ft 1 and too tall to fit in some convertibles. I have to kind of duck to see through the windshield or my line of sight is right at the 'bar' above the windshield instead of through the glass.

So, does the SSR have headroom and good line of vision for a tall person?
Also, how about legroom?

Thanks for your info.

Height in an SSR

I am 5'10" and the SSR fits me perfectly. If you are taller and you don't mind being confined then the SSR is for you. There is limited space in this vehicle.

Yes

My husband is 6'1", he rides with the seat almost all the way back and he fits fine both head space and leg space. Although he believes there is more leg room on the passenger side.

6' 5" and fit comfortably. Even have head room with the top up, which isn't too often. My only complaint is the line of sight out the windshield. Street lights and street signs are hard to see without crouching down a bit.
Go for it!

16 again!!

I am 6' and I wish the deadpedal was an inch or so more forward and the steering column would telescope. It would be close to perfect then for me. But nothing I have driven fits any better. the SSr just makes me feel 16 again. Just want to go cruisin. dont care if I have a destination on not. Just go!! Never had a vehicle make feel like that. :thumbs :flag :seeya

ps: I have owned 1 for over a year now and still feel that way! :ssr

I'm 6'2" and there are no ploblems, I wish there was more room but it's fine. I even have the WindsuppeSSR installed which cuts down a little more leg room but it's still OK. As for the viewing of streetlights etc. I bought a product from www.lightinsight.com. It's a mircle product for seeing those high things that you have the tilt your head to see. The SSR was designed to fit Wayne Cherry (GM VP of Design) and Rick Wagoner (GM Chairman) both of which are over 6' 4". THe SSR has more headroom than all convertibles except the new VW Beetle.

Darn - this whole time I thought that the SSR was designed JUST for me!!!

Seriously - as being less than 6' tall - it still feels like it fits me like a glove!!!!!

6'3" - 200 lbs

I am actually amazed at the headroom. The profile of the car would lead you to think you'd be squashed but it is actually a lot of room. I ahve an automatic. Have wondered what a stick would be like being 6 3??? :ssr

king size

6'3" 330lb I have to bend head down, chin to chest to get in. Once in I have plenty of head room. I was concerned about foot room when I bought, but that has not been a problem on 2 hour drives. Arm out window resting on door is perfect. little strange with window up and poor arm rest. Rebel gives the designers a "B+"

I'm 6 ft 2 1/2 inches tall and 250 lbs and fit perfectly. The only problem that I have is seen the electric traffic lights. ( I bought one of the reflective deals mentioned on this sight and the only way that it was effective in seeing the electric traffic signs was to have it one quarter of the way down the windshield)
