Was awarded at the dinner tonight at the Ottawa SSR Rally 2014 to SendIt2Al (Al & Sony Pileggi) of Athens, GA who drove 1191 miles to attend the Rally at the Calabogie Peaks Resort outside of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Unfortunately, the award is sitting at my home because of miscommunication and I will be sending it to Al as soon as I get home. At that time he will post a picture on the Rally Thread showing it on his :yellow:
Congratulations to Al and Sonya for joining the small family of Fanatics who have had the privilege of proudly displaying this memorial award on their SSR.

Al & Sonya were passing through Maine today and we met up with them and got the Bob Adams, Jr. Long Distance award handed over and mounted on their truck. They will now be sharing the story on their round about trip back to Athens, GA.

Thanks for such a great time. Sonya and I really enjoyed our visit up north. It was an honor to carry Bob Adam's memory with us and to share the SSR story with people along the way in our travels through New England wherever we went. When we got back home we got to go to Grandma's BBQ party and see more of our SSR friends. What a treat. I was amazed that so many had known about the award and had seen our pictures. What a great group!!!!!

Bob & Jayle so kindly provided the info for the chairs when we were in Ottawa they bought them on line at World Outdoor Products.com they are the Sunrise chair. Then you have to find someone to do the embroidery on them. We purchased 2 ourselves, mainly for the chairs, will try and find someone this winter to do the embroidery. Chairs are $49.99 US
