Those of you in Va., W. VA., Washington, Deleware, and N.J. may want to check this out. This is a great show and has tons of vehicles all along miles of boardwalk. It is one of the biggest shows in our area and features great events, entertainment, and a nice atmosphere. Perhaps we can sign up as the ssrfanatic club? I plan on going for sure. Anyone else interested? I would love to see some of you all actually in person. The hotel rates are also very cheap in april.

So far we have about six coming for the show. Pretty much everyone will be meeting at our house from 8AM-9AM and then at 9AM we will cruise together to the show. Make sure you register as a member of the ssrfnatic club so our site gets some visibility ok? Those coming and want to join our group that is going to cruise together to the show should send me a private message and I will email you my home phone and address so you can plug into mapquest.com and find the house easily. This should be a great show. It gets bigger and better evey year. I can't wait to meet all of you in person! Nice talkin with ya today Brownhornet!

A lot of the SSR folks are meeting at my house between 8AM-9AM day of the show so we can cruise up there as a group. THat should be quite a show! Are you registering to be judged or for the show and shine? The wife and I are probably going to be there but I don't think we want to be judged.

Diggs: You can go either way. There will be an area for folks who don't want to show but still want to check it out. Your choice either way but it will still be a ball. Hope to see you too!

Let me rephrase...

What is everyone else doing? If we register as a club and we all put the same thing down, we get a better chance for a club trophy, right?

I could go either way, so let's hear what others are doing.

Diggs: I am registering as a member of the ssrfanatic club to give our site better recognition. I seriously doubt we will get a club trophy and that really does not matter to me. The camaro and mustang guys here are pretty big on shows and usually get that trophy because they have such a big turnout. I am still registering to be judged because I have done some mods and am curious what they think of them from a judges perspective. Just lookin forward to sitting on the boardwalk all day and looking at cool cars and trucks. I am pretty sure they will put us all together if we ask them when we drive up to enter the boardwalk together, whether you sign on to be judged or just show and shine. Enjoy...we are getting close!!!!

I will be there, but I am not registering. (Heck, that would mean I'd have to clean my truck).

Diggs,

See you there. Can't wait to meet you. :)

I have registered. I love to keep my truck clean and I love for other people to look at it. I am even going to clear coat my engine, so it will stay clean. :cool

If any of you guys come in Friday evening, hook up with me at my house and we can wash and detail the trucks before the gala at Eageltons Restaurant on the beach. John, we can actually make yours look new again if you want! I am sure the hotels and stuff don't have the best facilities for cleaning and I personally hate going to car washes, however, there is a new one on General Booth Boulevard, four miles south of the ocean front at the Citgo gas station that is state of the art and has the kind you can do yourself with hoses in addition to the autowash touchless stuff I never use. Either way, the offer to come over to my place to clean up is welcome if you are interested. I plan on detailing mine on Friday, right after work. :jester

Registration sent

Or actually will go out with the mail man this morning (Monday).

I marked it for Miscellaneous and as part of the SSRfanatic club. The wife and I have a room for Saturday night but will drive down early on Saturday morning to meet up at Ed's house. It should be fun.

Now if the guys next door to my wife's work can get our stripes done and the Axiom grill bars get here in time.......

Ed, I'll be sending a PM as soon as I post this. Looking forward to meeting everyone (and showing off what I, umm, we have done to our Blur. :reddevil ).

Everyone who is in the car show will enter and exit at the 16th street area. Registered and registering vehicles also will enter there and then will be assigned to an area of the boardwalk.
