Couple simple ones for you guys who know better... allo about actually using the pickup bed as, well, a pickup bed! What a concept!

1. Are there any tiedown points in the bed that are actually attached to the frame? Or any otherwise strong enough to withstand ratchet straps? I ask because I _occasionally_ will go and buy a pinball machine or arcade game and need to transport it home - according to the dimensions they'll fit in the bed with the cover off and tailgate down, and I need to stretch a ratchet strap across the rear to prevent backslide out onto the pavement ;)

2. Are there any tubular bedrails available that we can get to fit atop our bed sides?

3. Any retractable bed covers small enough to fit? best of both worlds kind of thing, I guess.

You won't be fitting any pin ball machines in this baby. The clearance is not high enough and if you did, you have to remove the bed cover. Two bolts and one wire to do that one. Easy. There are tie downs that come with the bed rails (I would go for the capet package with the side rails, tie downs, and the rails on the floor). I can haul a 9 foot longboard in the back with the bed cover down and the tail gate down, but she sticks out pretty far!!!!

yeah, that's why I said bed cover *off* and tailgate down =0)

pinballs are 28" wide by 30" high by 55" deep with the backbox folded down and legs removed. Way smaller than they are when set up ;) 250-275 lbs, too.

Arcade games, though, are a slightly different story, just huge. Pac-Man for example is only 26 or so wide, but is 34" front to back and 74" tall, and some 300 lbs, so that laying in the SSR bed would probably need its own wheelie bar =0)

Anyways, so the tiedowns in the track-rails I saw, they are strong enough?
