Well, before we get all negative on this topic, I have to say, they called me, sent me emails and kept me up to date and I just recently received an email with pictures of the product from every conceivable angle. Unfortunately, I am on vacation and don't have the resources to upload the pics for ya. Will do that when I get mine which is arriving this week. I will take pics of it unwrapped, prior to and during installation so all can see for themselves and then do an update about a month later to let everyone know how it is holding up, ok? Look for that the first week in August from me. Won't be back home until then.
Received the same pics yesterday. Mine i'm told will ship this week. Been told that before. When it arrives I too will post pics of a real spoiler, just don't get yourself too excited just yet. Once they start rolling out we should be ok. Till then ?????

Hope the chin spoiler is a good addition

Glad to hear the chin spoiler has begun to ship according to Lesa. Hope you have a tracking # before you get too excited. Had the same thing happen on prior orders.
Cant wait to finally see one installed. Ordered mine in prime. Still deciding weather to spray it flat black or Yellow. Possibly a little of both. Better stop dreaming for now. First it has to ship, then almost 1 week to get it.

color choice
This had been a very hard decision. On the darker color cars, body color would look great. On the yellow and silver because we sit so low, the spoiler is going to get scraped up quite a bit. In flat black it is an easy repair when you get to it. In the yellow or silver once it gets hit the prime color will start to show and I am afraid it will cheapen the look of the vehicle. On all of my sports cars there is a spoiler of one kind or another that also vary in height. They are all in black, mostly rubber but black. All my cars are in the medium color range except the 430 coupe.
Once it arrives and gets fitted I will post some pics and give it some more thought. Now that I remember that far back, the other reason I went with the prime was at the time I ordered, there were no other yellows on board and Lesa didn't want to paint just one which I understand. Things might be different now but I didn't want to hold up delivery.
Still have another week or two so I can give it more thought.

If you would like to make it a winter project you might want to think about ordering now--maybe, just maybe you would have it by then...but I doubt it! :glol :glol

Can someone please post the vendor contact info? Maybe I missed it. I think body color as that seem st be the only way to "tie-in" the look as there is no other black, particularly matte, anywhere on truck. Just use the 3m or similar clear film protection the same as the protection for the hood, mirors... I'm sure it would not be the most difficult custom cutting and probably can order sheets on line.

Good news - Bad news
All of us who are waiting for the chin spoiler that own an 05 will have to wait a bit longer. The 04's are shipping. When I spoke to Lesa this past Friday as they were getting ready to ship mine the had an 05 at their shop so they tried it on. They were going to suprise me with pictures since the truck was yellow. At that time they found out that there is a difference in the front fenders between the 03-04 and 05. They were able to get a second 05 and the same problem. They need to do a little re-working. Should have then ready in about 10 days. All those that shipped for an 05 will have to be returned.
I don't quite understand the problem. Is there a different part # for the different model year? Hope to get an answer soon. Looking foward to seeing then mounted.
