Clicking in driveshaft

What the hell is causing the "clicking" in the drive shaft. It seems as if every SSR owner in here has the same issue. Don't know if it's causing harm to the truck or not, just want to know what the hell is making that noise!

It is a backup warning system. Every time you put the car into reverse and let off the gas it "tinks" to let you know that the vehicle is moving backward. Attempts to override this warning system by replacing the driveshaft have proved to be futile.
The only known cure is to either put on earplugs or turn the radio up louder.

But, I took it back to the dealer, they put in a new driveshaft, but they must have forgot to hook my back-up warning device back up, because now mine does'nt work. I guess I will just have to take her back again ..... :confused

Give it a little time. It has been known to repair itself.

My dealer said it was ok to drive while they order the new drive shaft.
