I am not sure who all is involved but I hear there are plans for some to drive up Pike's Peak and I am hoping to be included in that effort.I have been through Yellowstone and all the Parks in Utah so I plan o spending some time, after Cody, in Golden with my cousin, but will drive to meet other SSRs.

Pikes Peak is a nice drive. I was last up four years ago. The facilities at the top were not well maintained at that time. You might try LookOut mountain while there. We were going to do the Utah and North Rim, but decided that we did not want to haul the kayaks that far. Probably come back next year if I still have the GX and do some BLM roads in the area. Used cars like so many other things have become ridiculous so I think I will list it for sale.

ok, all interested, in planning the GTG for Saturday June 19th. I figure we can all meet at the Rockyard Brewing Co. in Castle Rock around noon of course weather permitting. From there we can decide future events and GTGs. hopefully this will work with everyone's schedule. Email me at [email protected] if this is OK so I can get a headcount and plan with Rockyard for tables. they have a great menu and reasonable prices for lunch. I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can.......

Looking forward to meeting as many fanatics as possible to cruise with. For the members in Colorado Springs well be leaving the old KMART parking lot on Powers and Palmer Park Blvd at 11 to caravan to the Rockyard. Hope to see allot of SSRs there. Ken

Well looks like the Rockyard Brewery GTG was a huge success, I want to thank each and everyone of you all who joined us for lunch, SSR people are the best family members a club can have. Just a great bunch. I'll get the members list together and post it here. Nothing but seriously awesome rides today. I'll be planning another GTG rally/ cruise soon possibly for July, or early August, maybe do a Estes Park cruise.... Thanks again to all the great FANATICS.....

Hello Colorado Fanatics, I've planned the Estes Park Cruise, Saturday August 28 . we'll be meeting at Claire's Restaraunt and bar Claire's Restaurant and Bar - American Restaurant in Estes Park, CO for lunch on the patio over looking Longs Peak. I've reserved 25 places for lunch at 11:30 am. I've tried to find the best route from the south and it looks to be I-25 to Longmont then west on 36 to Estes Park. Was considering going through Boulder but construction on that stretch of 36 could slow ya down. We can do lunch and then everyone could go off and window shop or go their own directions. I'd like to do a caravan from the springs north through Denver if anyone is interested. Email me at [email protected] if you can go, and so I can give the restaraunt a better head count in the coming weeks. Should be an awesome time!!
