Yes, for all rubber based products I have been using a product called Sil-Glyde with great success. It is sold by NAPA # 765-1351. It is Non melting, freezing, gumming and weatherproof. (Not for use on felt or fabric materials). :flag

Our manual gives G.M. part # 12345579 U.S. and 992887 Canadian for weather-stripping conditioning.

For squeaks it lists super lube with Teflon 12371287 U.S. and 10953437 Canadian. Take good care of her ;)

Is this Sil-glyde a petroleum based product??

I'm not sure, I know it contains Silicone. You may want to contact the manufacturer: AGS Company in Muskegon, MI 49443. Good Luck. :flag
