Seems a bit steep to me. I went to Norva Plastics (norvaplastics.com) in Norfolk, Va. Created a few stencils of the SSR logo the same size as the one under the hood and the one on the tailgate. They are making me the SS in mirror plastic and the R in Red plastic. I am getting two sets for $60.00. Should have them by Wed., but they have been very busy. One of the guys in the beachcomber corvette club did his entire hood in mirror plastic from templates he made and stuck them on with velcro. I hope they have some type of adhesive that will work but the product is lightweight and I will try a variety of adhesives. Liquid nails may work pretty good against that material under the hood. We shall see what they recommend later this week. will keep ya'll posted. :seeya

The painted ones look awesome. That is exactly what I want to do with mine in all the same places, however, the plastic ones I am having fabricated can easily be put under the tonu if I can't adhere them to the heat shield under the hood. I am positive that I can adhere them with velcro for sure and it is easily available in various sizes. I plan on putting one of the plastic ones on the air bag cover and the larger one under the tonu. Did the guy who painted yours use eurothane? Thanks a bunch for the suggestions. This is turning out to be a very helpful thread. Meanwhile, I am working on a rat fink SSR. Still got a ways to go but here is a peek:
