Be sure and visit: www.carmotorsports.com

Check out the beautiful Custom Embroidered SSR Underhood Insulator. It matches all the other Custom SSR Products offered by CAR Motorsports. The Underhood Insulator is available in Kit form for $100 less. About half of the buyers choose this option...they like to work on their cars themselves.

Seems a bit steep to me. I went to Norva Plastics (norvaplastics.com) in Norfolk, Va. Created a few stencils of the SSR logo the same size as the one under the hood and the one on the tailgate. They are making me the SS in mirror plastic and the R in Red plastic. I am getting two sets for $60.00. Should have them by Wed., but they have been very busy. One of the guys in the beachcomber corvette club did his entire hood in mirror plastic from templates he made and stuck them on with velcro. I hope they have some type of adhesive that will work but the product is lightweight and I will try a variety of adhesives. Liquid nails may work pretty good against that material under the hood. We shall see what they recommend later this week. will keep ya'll posted. :seeya
I sure hope you guys are licensed by GM. GM is getting REALLY tough in cracking down on unlicensed use of their logos. We are required to list the publications and boards on which we advertise and I wouldn't be surprised if they go and check them out. Just trying to warn everyone so no one gets in trouble with the General.
