Miss Daisy's Been SHOT!

Well, actually it was a stone hitting her windshield, but it sounded like a gun!

She was running down I-75 and a truck picked up a small stone off the road and hit her windshield about an inch above the hood on the far left hand side. It's out of the way of sight, but I'm getting it fixed. (The "star" of the chip is about the size of an eraser on a #2 pencil!)

Called the insurance company and they informed me that I had $100 deductible, BUT if I had it fixed by NOVUS (a mobile windshield fix company), they would wave the deductible.

I will keep you informed on how it comes out.............

Rock chip

The most important thing to do first is to put a small piece of tape over the chip ! You Want To Keep The Dirt Out Of The CHIP. Will make a cleaner repair,I carry a small round band aid in case of a chip :thumbs :

window shield repair

A window repair wii not cost you any money The Insurance Co. wii pay for the repair. The $100.00 ded. is when you have to have the W/S Glass replaced. Insurance Co. would rather pay the $25.00 than have to replace it .
