I was vacationing in Orlando Florida last week. On Tuesday the 14th we took a trip to Daytona Beach. As I was exiting the beach a Ultra Violet SSR was coming on. I gave him the :thumbs . Talked to him for a few minutes letting him know that I had one also. However, I don't know who he was. I came along way from Michigan and it was really cool to see one. I didn't drive mine I flew down instead. After seeing him I was really missing mine. Like to know if he's on this site. So anyone reading this that was at Daytona Beach last Tuesday. I would sure like to know your name.

Didn't think of saying anything in advance. Sure wish that I would have! I love Florida! My next trip will be back to the Key's. Would you travel there to meet? I had a great time in Orlando but a better time at Daytona. Loved the idea that you can drive your vehicles on the beach. If I don't go the the Key's next year. I am definetly planning on returning to Daytona. Next time I will drive the SSR. I rented a Ford Taurus could not get an SSR or I would have. Wouldn't have cared how much it would have cost either. I think they should make them available to rent. There is no better way than to see the sites in Florida. I envy you for living down there. Someday I'll have a vacation home there. Wish I would have meet you too! I'll let you know next time I come back.

I'm coming down the first week of August , staying at the Hilton. We are going to do the Savanah cruise on the 30 -31, then head down. Looking forward to crusing on the beach.

How about a morning meet-up and breakfast? Some of us did that on the trip to Melbourne and it worked out real good. Then we can all caravan together.
Can I suggest a little further north so us Palm Coasters don't have to backtrack?
There are several restaraunts right off 95 here that we could meet up at. We are about 100 miles north of Melbourne.

You get to go to Woodward - why can't we have something like that on the left coast???

Oh well - doing the Peach City Beach Cruise next weekend in Penticton - looks like about 400 cars in the works, and a bunch more maybes waiting to know how the weather will be.

Should be interesting this year. I don't have to compete with the kit cars anymore. They've added a new category - Millenium 2000 - entries have to be year 2000 or newer. Apparently one of the entries is an H2 Hummer from Vancouver with over 200 grand invested.

Might have to take in the Langley show near Vancouver - the entry number is the same as the year - 2005 entries this year, and they turned cars away last year. That's a lot of iron to see in one day.
