Thanks to you guys I've now found out that my new SSR is unfortunately speed restricted to 130mph :mad As we speak my fully loaded '05 SSR is on a boat on it's way to me here in the UK. Does anybody out there know if there is any way to "de-restrict" her or will I need to "re-chip" :confused I can either order parts on the Net or I do have a friend with a house in Florida who is back and forth every couple of months. I just can't have all those 390 horses "hobbled" :reddevil
I wait with baited breath :thumbs

Have checked all the Web sites of the 3 manufacturers you suggest but none appear to actually list the '05 6.0l LS2 SSR. So let me know as soon as someone takes the corsets off their baby ;)

Try Jet Chips

Mad-Dog

Try Jet Chips. They are located at www.jetchips.com. I do not know if they have a product. But if you go to their site there is also a contact number. You can speak to a live person who can tell you what they can do. They might be able to direct you to who can help you if they can not.

Good Luck! :seeya :thumbs :flag

I think you will find the limiter at 125mph because the tires are only rated to 130mph that come om the SSR. So if you raise the limiter you better change tires to if you plan on driving over 130mph. 125mph is where mine shuts down, I have a auto tranny.

Thanks for that :thumbs Guess I'll now have to investigate whether I can get performance rated tyres in the right sizes over here :confused Is that right that you're super-charging your 6.0l '05 LS2 :cool

Cooooooool

Sounds good BobA. I'll keep an eye on you. Perhaps I could import the stuff over here and be the only one in the UK with a "charged" 6.0L SSR :cool
