Before all the delays, back when there was supposed to be 3500 units produced, I deposited for the one and only 2003 my dealer was getting. Then came all the delays and I was told my order was cancelled. Then GM jumped through all the hoops and announced that there would once again be 3500 units produced. However; I never got my 2003 back. The dealer still indicates the allocation for a 2003 never came back to them.

Does anyone know if the allocations were redistributed to other dealers. Also, does anyone know of a way that I could insure my dealer is or is not getting a 2003. Is there a source for this information other than from my dealer. I am trying to make sure that if they are getting a 2003 (once again) that I am the one to get it like my buyers contract indicates.

It doesn't make sense that GM is once again building 3500 units and one 2003 did not go back to my dealer.

half help

GMbuypower.com has an inventory search. While it won't give you any allocation information, you might be able to find out if your dealer has been delivered a vehicle. I did a search on a local dealer and it says that he has one in stock. I called them and they said that they are expecting it any day now. So if you check once a week, you might catch the dealer in a lie, or not.
