I have been meaning to post this for some time, sorry for the delay.
FYI, for those that do not know: To reset your Oil life to 100% after an oil change.
Turn the ignition ON (engine OFF) press the accelerator pedal to the floor 3 consecutive times, turn ignition off.
Your oil life is now reset to 100%

That is the correct way to do it, because of the fuel injection system.
Actually, with the "throttle by wire" system on the SSR, you can cycle the accelerator pedal all day long with the engine off and only get a sore ankle!

Just relaying what the service technician told me. I'll try the reset button next time, would much rather do it that way...duh!

The above is the way GM tech manuals tell you how to reset oil light.

I tried the button on mine and it didn't reset it. The accelerator pedal is how they did my Tahoe. The SSR has been reset everytime since that one episode!!!

I have reset mine by using the reset feature in the DIC. It is a wee bit easier than using your foot. :)
