vvpprr said:Here is the deal. All other dealers wanted about $650.00 a month for the same deal. When I declined the offer from one of the dealerships they called back and made the offer on the black car only. They had 10 in stock. I asked why and they showed me that they have been sitting with it since August last year. When I signed the lease in the finance office they showed me a negative amount of about $3,400 that they were loosing on the deal. If anyone is interested send me an email and I will forward the actual deal as it was emailed to me from the dealer here in South Florida.

ECurtis said:For the people on the forum who are looking for an SSR why not combine your buying power. If three or four of you get together and approach a dealer and say that you want (4) SSR's and state the options, then tell them you guys are buying as a group. You are going to give your business to one dealer. Then ask that dealer for the best price. Of course, it helps if you guys have certain things arranged like your financing, knowing what you qualify for, etc. I think that the winning dealer would be happy to get you guys. For example if (3 or 4) of you approached a dealer and you each had your own financing or you each knew that you wanted to finance through GMAC then you may be able to get a very good deal. Just a thought.
I wish I had known of (3 or 4) people who were definitely ready to buy an SSR and had their affairs arranged so that we could approach a dealer together. It is possible that collectively we all would have been able to save more money than individually.
