I know the 2004 has a much smaller engine. I think it was 0-60 in over 7 seconds.

But did this mean better gas mileage?

I'm trying to decide whether to go for a discounted 2004 or a 2005.

04 runs on regular, 05 on premium. 05 has more power and the option of a 6 speed manual trans.

I dont know about anyone else, but my 03 will kick off 0-60 in just over 5 seconds
(approx. 5.6)

05's have the nice strut hood..No prop rod according to my service guy..I haven't checked this out for myself yet though...


Remember they both have the abuse mode in the pcm... I drove an 05 automatic and for the price diffrence in the 2 it is not worth it to me..but that is my opinion...besides who can see you whenyou are running 130mph + ?
