First, let me say I belong to another "Web Club" called LLSOC, because I own a Lincoln LSE thats a very cool sports sedan.

There are many accessories for sale on the LLSOC site for various discounts. These discounts are for MEMBERS ONLY. Members that put items on EBay always give the members a better price.

There two FLM dealers on board that sell to members @ wholesale pricing & that includes all FoMoCo parts. There is also a web based company Fordparts.com that sells all parts including some speed equipment at various discounts

On the SSR site there are no Chevy dealers that I know of & if there are they don't sell even close to wholesale.

There are also some members of SSR that sell their items here for the same price as on EBay. Thats plain & simple BS !

There's also a few companies selling their items for inflated prices. Buyer bewear!

The SSR web club can be great, so lets get together & make it that way.

Num. 1 I would take a GMC Cady CTS any day over a Ford Lincoln LSE for a cool
sports sedan :thumbs

Num. 2 All of us SSR owners have been around the block a couple of times, we do know that gmpartsdirect.com sells for less then dealers!! ;)

Num.3 There are some people that are members that work for GMC in all areas,
dealerships, service tech's,clear up to factory's and every aspect of GMC
thats all we need!! :flag

Num4 You will always have a few bad apples in any group, even LLSOC as far as e-bay is concerned. :cuss

Num5 Inflated prices HELLOOOO that's nothing new that's what this site is about,
everybody talks and research's to come up with the best answers and price
then we buy. They are companys that give us members deals and discounts,Axiom,Windsurpressr just to name a few. :thumbs

Num6 This is and always has been a great site thanks to Troy,Marc,Buffy, and all
of the other great SSR owners!! :thumbs :flag

Sounds like one of those bad apples got into your pockets and now you want to bag on the Fanatics :nono

This has got to be the longest post I have ever done I don't know how Jim G does it :glol

Well Hello CRAZY,

#1) To each his own. ( The "CTS" is ButtUgly) !

#2 & #3) However I'm talking 35% to 40% off not 5% to 15%.

#4) I agree 100% !!

#5) I must be dumb as Hell, I believe the members should give & get the lowest prices & share them with all the members.
No comment on the second part.

#6) I agree that SSR's site is very good.

No bad apple pal, just an observation of 50+ years of, racing, owning, collecting, & buying more types of cars & parts than most.

Discounts

I've listened long enough. I've been in this business for 14 years, and had some customers who have paid sticker, and a lot who demanded that I go into the dealers holdback money. For those people who own business, how many of you discount your product to nothing. Not a lot I would guess, or you wouldn't be in business long. As all business owners are aware, it take a lot to run a business, and although I've been in the business, not as an owner, I know what it takes to run one. It doesn't take giving things away. I get so tired of selfish b*****ds trying to get something for nothing. I've worked for two dealers during this period who will not charge a customer over MSRP on hot demand vehicles. These same dealers will sell any aftermarket product for cost plus 10%. They charge the same rate in the shop that all dealers charge, so what I'm saying is that they are reputable dealers. And I get tired of these dealers being catorigized as "Cheating Dealers". If I have offended any of you, so be it. But I have listended to this for two long.
I will now return you to your previously scheduled programing.

Watch Six- discounts

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Yes, I'm sure lots of customers think the money goes straight to the owners' personal account/ pocket.

Forget about payroll, advertising, lights, heat, corporate taxes, property taxes, donations, mortgage payments, operating line facility, floor plan, etc etc

Your point was over due, but, well said.

THANKS AGAIN
