Opening the doors or bed cover with the remote is getting where it does not work correctly. I have both remotes and they both work the same, which is, most times require me to be next to the truck for them to pop the doors. One will not pop the bed cover at all and the other one will after 4 or 5 tries. I have a new battery in one of them and think I replaced the other one a few months ago or maybe not. Ya think it is the controler's or some other thing? One of the remotes is only 8 or 9 months old. THANKS

I would try new batteries. They also have a test station at Auto Zone that you can use.

Sometimes they just need to be reprogramed. Had a 06 corvette and had the same issues. Dealer reprogramed both remotes and l was good.

Dicktator did not point you to the BCM, he stated it was near the BCM (shown in pic in the BCM procedure of his library). He directed you to the RCDLR, which is the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver.
