Dumbest question ever

Lost my electronic keychain, and only have the old-fashioned key.

Owners manual says there is a release for the tonneau/cargo cover in the glove box. I have looked for 15 minutes and cannot find anything that looks like a release.

1) Am I overlooking it, or

2) Is there a chance that my 2004 did not have release in the glove box?

I know the location of the "other" release, and this is not a have-to-open-the-cover-tonight emergency... but I would really like to locate the glove box release if it is there. Any hints? :confused

It is on the left hand side. Little round button, close to the ashtray.
It's there...

In my '04 you open the glove box and look to the far left ( atually it's outside of the glove box, but you have to open it) at the top there is a little black button with a little white ssr logo on it.

Now stay with me on this one........................... But, THIS was the dumbest question ever!

A few years, I built a 1931 Ford Roadster street rod. 350/350, Black with flames, you know, the whole package. Well, I was at one of my first car shows with it, when one of our future leaders (a teenager) walked up and said, "KEWL CAR DUDE! Did you buy it new?"

Details:
- Here I am sitting next to a 70 + year old car!
- I would have had to have been at least 20 years old to buy it new which would make me 90!!
- Should I have been insulted?

I just said, "Yep!"

I don't think he ever got it!
thanks to all of you - you are always such a help. (I had to lay on the ground outside the car and practically put my head under the dash to find it, but it IS there)
