I read an article that the 2006 Cadilac will have the same 6.0L LS2 engine in it that is in the 2005 SSR. However, the Cadilac will have 515 horsepower because it has a supercharger on it made by Eaton Corp. So, I don't see any reason why you could not bolt the same supercharger on to a 2005 SSR. I found a Generation IV Eaton Corp. Supercharger on the internet and it was only $2,995.00.

I just read an article in Autoweek about a "one of a kind" STS that used the LS2.
It was built as a test vehicle for new tech stuff. I do not beleive it will be a production item.
