Happened to me too.

The same thing happened to me, I had less than 2,000 miles on my '05. I couldn't pull out the key and couldn't shift the automatic transmission because I couldn't push the shifter knob button down. The truck was sitting in the garage and I was sure if they dragged it out to load it on a flat-bed wrecker that the transmission would be damaged. However, the wrecker driver was a big, burly guy and he just popped that button down with little obvious effort (I think I may have been afraid to get rough with it). After that it was loaded and off to the dealership. Three days later I got it back and the cause was the ignition lock and theft guard had begun to come apart in the steering column. The dealer replaced it and all was OK.

Hey Yeller Dog,

I would like to meet you Seems like I have to go to Texas to meet SSr owners. Maybe we can meet some time. I go down to Bass Pro every now and then. I guess that wont be happining when they get the one finished here in Tulsa this fall. I really don't need a reason I just like to go. Let me know. Maybe there are more people from the OKC, Tulsa area we can have our own little get togather. Even western Arkansas and S W Missiouri.

Bass Pro Shop? Did you know that we now sport a Cabela's, as well? It is the second largest store in the U.S. Located at I-35W and Alliance Pkwy. I was told that people, on average, drive 250 miles to go to one.

I have personally been to that store, and may I say, WOW!!!! It is very impressive!

Say the word, and I will leave to meet at Cabela's!!

Focks,

I know where that is, I think. My mom used to live in
Grand Prairie. Is it off I-35W and AA road which way to turn to go there? Thats what we call the road where AA airlines has their big matinance facility. That is the way I went to mom's sometimes. Had 3or 4 ways I used to go to see her before she died in 97.

Today, Tomorrow, nothing is holding me down either.

It is a 4 1/2 hour ride from here. I live just north of Tulsa about 6 mi.

Always ready to meet

Hey BobA, I would like to meet up somewhere. This is a small world, I used to live in Tulsa, plus I have a daughter that lives in Coppell, TX, probably not too far from that Cabela place. I had planned to come to Tulsa in a couple weeks to get your guy to dyno my SSR. Anytime / anywhere. Joe

Hey, slingSSR

Try disconnecting the negative battery cable. (Underneath the bed) Leave it off for five minutes then reconnect. That allows the PCM to reprogram and reset the security code....if that is the problem.

P/P

Peace :flag
