Since I joined this site, I've noticed that as time goes on, the discussions are getting into more flame wars (extremes).

As with anything in life, the people on the extreme left/right tend to have very strong opinions. It'd be nice if the membership of this site would be courteous enough to allow others to express their joy, experiences, concerns and frustrations without getting flamed by the "other side".

Some look at the SSR as a "religion" and some merely as day-to-day transportation. Having that debate in every thread on this site is getting old.

I place myself in the middle, because I love the SSR looks and concept, but I have to consider price and how reliable the SSR is no matter how great it looks.

If someone paid $5K over MSRP, MSRP or $12K under MSRP for their SSR, it obviously was worth it to him or her at the time. Knowing the current market prices for a SSR is a nice thing to know.

I think we can all get along here if we try. :yesnod

Sorry but I haven't seen this political right left war or flame that you are talking about, Maybe I have just missed it but everyone I have talked to, Topics or private messages are down to earth good people and I have not had one problem with any of them, All will go out of their way to answer your question or ask a question about there SSR or others

I have been on a lot of forums in my time and this is by far the tamest I have seen and I do hope it stays that way. I think our Moderator Marc will keep those things in check and is doing an awesome job of just that! Love that little hugging smiley by the way!

Whenever you put together as many people as we have on this forum there will be disagreements between some. We have a group from all walks of life and from all around the world. The reason you, shiftz33, might feel that you are seeing more flaming is simple. A year ago there wer 250 members on this site. Now there are almost 1500. More people, more varied opinions, more extremes. When things start getting out of hand Marc has been right on top of things to calm us down. I got hit with his editing ax on one of my posts.
People are judged here by what we all see in print. Most of us will never meet face to face. Someone once told me "Never put anything in print that you wouldn't want to see on the front page of the New York Times" I think thats a pretty good rule to follow.
All in all, I think this is a great place for everything about our SSR's.

Ditto that, dingbat! The info we all receive here is invaluable! Looking (and sometimes contributing) at this forum has become a part of my daily life, mainly because of all the great people here that take the time to contribute in a positive way. Most of you have a great sense of humor, too! :lol

Thank you all!

I have enjoyed this forum for the reason there is such a great diversity in the various backgrounds of folks who post here. There are the artistic/creative contributors contrasting with the highly technical owners! I think this gives more flavour and life, if you will, to the board.

To conclude, observe a person who judges and rates others and you will see an unhappy person. Conversely, bring to mind someone who is happy in life and you will see a person who is non-judgemental of others.
