Just got a second SSR which is now mine.. I can drive it anytime I want. Topless or whatever. I am still letting hubby wash it though. He is much better at that. It's an 04, black/silver, really sharp. Found it at the Woodward Dream Cruise with a 4 sale sign, calling my name. I named her (CoolSSR) her own special license plate.
Haven't been home much lately.. Been cruising every day. Will the newness ever ware off??

Speaking of the Sisterhood; since I am new to this group ~ Whatever happened to the T-shirts for the ladies??? Was it created or does this idea need to be renewed?? Should we start another poll and see what interest there is ~ I thought it was a great idea provided they look female and not remade guy shirts.
Happy to be #98!
After wanting one for awhile I asked a dealer friend to help me find one with my criteria (mostly price). When he didn't get instant results he quit looking. Of course that made me even more determine. Took four months but I found it, bought it, shipped it home. Just me. Just Mine!
Now the frustration is the three feet of ice and snow that will be keeping us indoors until April...:nodno
But that's ok, even if it is just sitting in it in the garage and charging the battery I am loving it!
Sailing
('cause if I'm not driving I'm ... sailing!)
Welcome from one of the SoCal Nuts in the diagonal corner of the Country. You definitely got the right color. Hope you have fun with it and maybe we will meet someplace in between. WDC 2011?

Hi Meg. Go to the Supporting Vendors on the Forums page and open Ghost Rider Customs. Ask Aaron just which items you can get the Sisterhood embroidery on.

As so often happens the timing for me will not work out. That is the same weekend I am Fleet Coordinator for a regatta that is a fundraiser for MS. It is our 30th year. It started out as a small effort by about a dozen boats in 1982. It is now a three day event that includes an auction, a powerboat poker run, a sailboat regatta, a tugboat muster and lobster boat races. No not all at the same time! :lol The overall weekend is called MS Harborfest. The different aspects each have a subtitle like MS Regatta. The MS Regatta now has over 100 boats sailing in up to 12 divisions on three different courses. All followed by a big cookout and awards. It is not the largest sailing fundraiser in the country but it the largest in New England. So I will be busy that weekend...
Maybe we can get a SSR rally for those not headed to Woodward! There is an excellent area for viewing the on-the-water activities from The Eastern Promenade in Portland were there are land based activities being held also.
Man, just talking (typing) about it makes me want warmer weather!!
