THIS WEBSITE !!!
I'm a new SSR Smokin' Asphalt owner !!!
I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and love it !!!!
Wife is afraid to drive it. It's a cool car to have.
I live in the Maryland / D.C. area , and hope to meet up with other owners in the area. There doesn't seem to be many. The car gets lots of looks from people whom have never seen one. The only bad thing is that it has been winter time and have not had the chance to cruise with the top down... but it won't be long!!!!!

Welcome to the family Smokin Asphalt cousin

I know exactly what you mean. From the very first time I saw an SSR it had me hooked. Went in to get my oil changed on my Tahoe and saw the Smokin Asphalt just sitting there waiting to be driven. I drove it out of the parking lot for a test drive and that was it!!!! Enjoy your ride and the looks it gets!!! It's a GREAT vehicle and you made a great choice in colors!!

David,

Welcome to the site. There are more in the area than you think but they don't know about this site. Help me get the word out in the DC area.

Lets try to get together soon.

finally had a chance

to take our beautiful Yellow baby out with the top down...weather was fantastic here in the upper left hand corner and no bugs in the teeth because it's too early! Now we need to buy the windscreen dealie that goes behind the seats! Still worrying about having it go dead if we don't go and visit every other week or so and start it up...looking into buying a battery tender.

It is a heck of a site as you have said.
