:agree One thing that I have noticed (and it was mentioned in another thread) is that when I hit a slight bump in the road at speed, it tends to "shake" (like a loose front end) a little bit. Not bad, but a noticeable shake for about 2 or 3 seconds and then it smooths out again.

I believe the other thread mentioned that the SSR does NOT have a steering dampener like most cars with a Rack & Pinion setup. Not being an mechanical engineer, I can't tell you if that could cause my (our) sympton or not.

Just my $0.02 worth.....

The "cowl shake" is pretty much standard on any convertible - just don't have the structural integrity of a car with a full roof. The frame is actually much stronger than the stock frame on a Trailblazer, but the Trailblazer doesn't shake, even with several less crossmembers.

That really makes sense too! (But, having a few Covette convertibles, I hadn't really noticed it before, but the SSR is a heavier vehicle!)
