Tracking (shipping status) on my SSR was provided through GM Customer Service (800) 222-1020. You should have your vin and/or order number for them to check. Also, rebate information by dealer zip code areas (no rebate other than GM retiree available in my area) can be had at GM Customer Service (800) 962-2868.

Here's a note about my experience with customer service...

My question: why couldn't my dealer get a build date for my car?

I called the service number and the person who helped me offered no "help" at all. He told me that all that he could do was call my dealer and ask them.

The customer service rep never answered his phone (all my calls went to phone mail). When I left specific instructions about when and where to call in my voice mail to him, he called the opposite number that I told him too (he did this three times). He never called me with further clarifications - I always had to call him first, leave voicemail, and wait for him to call me back (one time it was five days after I left him the message before he called me back).

So, don't expect too much.
