gm sent a message to all wholesale and retail personel about the comment from
bob lutz and any talk of losing another division was denied. pontiac and buick have been the two divisions talked about in the past but gm claims they have no
plans to do the dame thing that happened to oldsmobile and gm told oldsmobile
dealers the same song about three years before they announced plans to kill
oldsmobile. if gm really wanted to save some money they'd take a serious look
at saturn- the true anchor of all divisions. the general will make changes to
improve things with wall street and investors but i not sure they can gain back
market share which is the true measure of success for general motors.
