Does anyone know if GM allows for access to there online service manuals via a general user ID and password? I have the web site and have downloaded the service manual update of 447MB, but I need to log in with a user ID and password. http://service.gm.com/index_en-US.html

service manuals

i bought the hard copy manuals (2) from helm for about 135.00 and they have proven to be invaluable as a source of info. they also cover all the available option packages.
