GMS pricing for everyone starts June1,2005

Hey guys been watching the boards on other car sites and GM is going to offer the GMS employee pricing to everyone for all the GM cars/trucks EXCEPT for the new Corvette and the Hummer H3 starting on June 1st, 2005.

My question is what would now be the price for the 2005 SSR at GMS employee pricing?

Thanks ... The Dream is Still Alive..<< from NASA.. haha!

GMS Pricing

Z16Z06,
You have to be an employee or a close relative, (Brother, sister, uncle, etc...) to get the GMS pricing. GMS pricing is done with a certificate number from GM, and you can't get this number if your not related to a GM employee.

Sorry not true because on June, 1, 2005 GM is moving forward and going to sell their vehicles to everyone at GMS pricing.. its in the Detroit papers and i have a reliable source.. Read , Read, Read....LOL

Dont know if you've read lately.. but GM is in the tanker... LOL
It's True

What Z16Z06 is saying is true, believe it or not. I have been with GM for over 30 years and they are having this promotion for the month of June. This info was not to be released until the 1st of June. But, again in "GM Style" they break the news early to destroy one of the biggest selling weekends of the year. Never fails to amaze me how they can screw things up like this all the time. Sorry, I'll step down now. Someone else can have a turn.
Gms Pricing

Yeah you can get GMS on a lot of the vehicles chevrolet has next month, but they left out one more that doesn't have GMS pricing. The SSR. This is in part because it's a halo vehicle which puts it in the same boat as the Hummer and Corvette.
The SSR hasn't had GMS in the past few years and unless somone high up decided to change the rules for it, it may have been a typo that it was excluded from the Hummer, Corvettte list.

FYI: I purchased my SSR at GMS in the middle of last May. I probably was one of the very few at that time to do so in my area anyways.

If GM is going to offer GMS "GM out of S"tock" to everyone in June that will certainly upset many GM employees who have ordered or planned on buying a vehicle. One reason they will be upset is that we can't earn 5% on GM charge cards anymore... only 1%. Unlike non-GM people who can still earn 5% so in reality they will be able to get it cheaper with their earning power than GM employees can. :willy:

It will be enteresting to see how that promotion will do.

Except

Except I was told last Dec. that I could not use any of my Visa points on the SSR. That still ticks me off, I'll never forget it. :boxing

When I purchased my SSR last October GMS pricing was not available on it (or the Corvette). Bought both a Colorado and a Trailblazer using it previously.

GMS can vary by Dealers and Regions

GMS was available in our area for both the SSR and the Corvette last fall. For the Corvette you had to order it and then you would be able to get GMS on it.
So, does anyone know where that would put the "GMS" price on a 05 SSR? I hope this is the right place for this question. It would seem relevant... :confused
I should've read the first post more closely..
