As a follow-up, my beauty has been returned to me in "as new" condition. Again, as the only problem was really a socket jumping off a ball I wouldnt expect to notice anything wrong unless it jumps off again. If it does, I believe I will try to reattach it, because I don't think it would take me 3 weeks. My greatest pro blem with this whole thing is the total apparent lack of concer4n over my inconvenience by both Chevy and my dealer. Oh well, I have it back now, and almost forgot what a unique experience the car/truck is.

:agree I totally understand your feelings in regards to dealership probs with maintenance and service. They really need to train a crew specifically in the SSR at each dealership. I am thankful I finally found one at Priority Chevrolet in Chesapeake, VA. The others seeme to be shooting in the dark in regards to problems with my SSR.

man, those are some great graphics. Red highlights really bring the smokin asphalt to life!
