I am not sure if there is a correct name but you did a good enough job describing them so we know what you mean. I think I still have the old inner wheel wells I replaced on my red truck but not sure how good the doors are. I can look around lunch time and see.

I checked and one side was missing and the other side has a hole rubbed through it. I could trace the one I have on paper and mail it to you. You could probably make them out of some flat plastic. For what that one above cost, you can buy the complete inner wheel houses after market for that. I paid about $75 for the pair on Ebay
