Is the picture of your SSR, with the black bra, showing a COLGAN CUSTOM bra, or is it another brand? I e-mailed COLGAN about one for my SSR and he replied that they only make them for the Corvette! If yours is another brand, I would appreciate their name and how I can contact them. Thanks, Joe.

Thanks all for the input. Thanks too, dingbat, for the link. I now have a set of bra/mirror covers on the way! Prices have gone up some....with mirror covers my bill came to $174.24......but that's OK as nothing is too good for my truck!!!!! Joe

Red Bra

I just ordered mine yesterday. bra and mirrors mitts in torch red, but with black bindings. It should go good with the two tone interior. I want to protect that new hood on the way to lancing in august. They said I was 1st one to order 1 color matched. all the rest for the SSr have been black, they said from colgan. :thumbs :ssr :flag :seeya


ps; I did pay a tad bit more to get color, like over $300 just for the bra. But I can't take that money with me. My daddy always told me that money was burnin a hole in my pocket. :lol :lol

about the color thing, but of course it is Saturday and no one is there. I think I will call them first thing Monday morning, California time, and ask what the @#*! is going on.

Whoa! Ordered mine in June: bra, mirror covers, and storage bag...$148.90...looks and works great! Too bad there were no color matches then but wouldn't expect them to do the UV anyway.

They should be able to do one in the millinium yellow with black bindings. That was the big deal, bindings not to color. Thats alright with me. See my ps about pricing for the color, I believe it is over $400 shippin and handlin, that does include the mirror mitts colored also.

I just got an email back from them.

i can do them in any color that we offer in the corvette line. the only thing is where ever there is a opening we need to use our BLACK cloth(binding) to cover the edges and they would be non-returnable.

I choked

I called them (Colgan) on the phone and found out from Customer Service that they will make them out of Corvette material as discussed above. However, the cost is $294 MORE than the black, which includes the mirror covers. I decided I could put that $294 somewhere more useful, so left stand the order for the black set in carbon fiber.
