Clear guards

Why yes you did.

I don't like black guards. They tend to down grade the look of a beautiful car or paint job. The clear guards give me the protection of road guards, without the ugliness of the black guards.

Work Well?

Do they give much? I'd be worried if they break. If they work well, you might consider mass production! :)

I'd buy 'em

How Well?

These seem to be working very well. They do have a little give if something brushes them backwards. Scraped mine the first day out. Had them about 1 1/2 " too low. Removed them and shortened them, then reinstalled. Working great now.

Mass production could be an option. I would have to check my materials pricing, labor involved, and potential shipping costs.

When it's something for my own vehicle, it usually doesn't matter how high or low the cost or labor, as long as it works the way I intended.

Clean Up

Do they clean up easy? Looks like it might be hard to keep them clear. I still love the idea!

They clean up with soapy water. If they get too dirty or cloudy, just take them off and polish them back up with a buffer and polish (I use MEGUIRES Diamond cut).
