Hey girls, lets all steal the hubbies SSR's and meet up!!!!!!
We can all show them who looks better driving it......
I bet it can be a guy magnet... especially because more guys look at the car than women do... But you can't tell them that, probally because they aren't used to women looking at them, they should realize that it's the car we are looking at,
We all like the guy with the coolest car!!!! ;)

Come On Guys... I Was Only Kidding !!!

I went out with my hubby when he didn't have the coolest car!!!
The great cars didn't come until after we were married!
Now we can somewhat afford them and we realize you can't take it with you, so enjoy life now!!!!

My first reply!

Hey Girls!

I agree! My husband never had any girls follow him around town in his toys... :lol

Where are we going to meet? I hope you are not thinking of a Thelma & Louise type situation ???

My wife tried to con me into taking the appliance SUV on this temp assignment in Atlanta, instead of the SSR!

She claimed it was "to protect your baby for you, from hail storms, theft, exposure to sun in exposed parking, and exposure to being hit in a hotel parking lot."

She finally confessed it was because she REALLY likes the sound and the feel, especially when she hits the gas on it.

It IS both a chick magnet and a guy magnet. However, in both cases it is the TRUCK they are interested in, not the driver!

Hey Girls! You realize that we all live "relatively" close (east coast) that is. When the guys go to sleep, we steal the SSrs and meet in Atlantic City for a little gambling and fun on the Boardwalk. Of course, I think Ed hides his keys at night. I guess he worries that the chocolate lab might want to take an unauthorized cruise too! :lol :thumbs

Ed and I are doing a northern road trip in the SSR to the Falls then across NY state, through New England to Nova Scotia in late July. We will honk at ya as we pass through. Ed said I can even drive the SSR again. Looking forward to the freedom. Maybe we'll see ya along the way!

Wives' turn?

Uh-oh! Some of you sound like you are in trouble now! Fortunately for me, my wife hasn't driven mine yet. She says she is afraid that it will get a ding (or worse) when she is in command. I'll just leave well enough alone, because once she gets behind the wheel, my redline red won't be available nearly as much for me! ;)

Who says it's his. :cool My redline is mine. he's only driven it a couple of time. You know to wash it. :reddevil This summer we will be towing it behind our 40' motorhome. When we get to where we are going, then I may share driving priviledges. We'll see. :seeya

towing SSR

How do you plan to tow "toad" ? ,Four on the ground or trailering ?I plan to use an enclosed tailer ,It would always be clean , safe , no gravel chips and best of all you don't have to mess with the electrical ,brakes or drive shaft . I will be driveing a 42 ft Monaco ,will not have any problem pulling :seeya

Towing

We will be towing it 4 on the ground with a roadmaster hitch and a transmission pump. We have air brakes on the coach and hubby had already installed the brake hoop up for the air brakes to the SSr brake pedal. The post sits under the driver seat and I don't even know it's there.
My previous car was a PT and I got stares from that. What do you think we'll get when they see the SSR rolling behind.

I'm towing with a 40' Endeavor diesel. The tow isn't a problem for us either.

Hi Kris,

Marc mentioned that he and Ed had already talked about you traveling through the WNY area this summer. Maybe you will get a chance to stop by when you are in the driver's seat. Sounds like a great adventure you will be on.

Enjoy!

Kris and Ed

If your trip takes you down through southern New England you will have to look me up. Just remember if you are on Rt. 95 and cross the Mass border into RI don't blink or you will miss it and be in Conneticut. :lol

Actually, Kris's brother lives in Bolton, Mass. so we will be going through there.
We will have to try and hook up when you are in the area. Bolton is only an hour or so away from me. I would love to see that paint job up close. There are some great areas to cruise up here too.
