There have been a few modified PT Cruisers
It looks more like a "Kit Car" to me. A guy here in town, that had a body shop, had something that looked a little like that. It had a lift off top and I think it was like a 39 or 40 Ford Coupe. What was his name, his shop wa down there behind the old Shoney's which is now a liquor store and close to Cannonsburg. Damn I can't think of his name. 10 uh C cozydog.

I don't think it would be an HHR, the HHR front door is part of the rear of the front fender. My guess is an old Suburban

Belt line is the same, bottom of the fenders front and back are there. I think this is it an early Suburban. Roof taken off, and a lot of custom metal work.

Love the grill and front end look on the old suburban.

They may have shortened the body to fit another frame? Those old truck frames needed an X brace in them if your putting any kind of power plus taking the roof off I would want the frame to be more reinforced as well. It is a neat looking truck.
