I have been working at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway all summer and could not help but notice and be impressed by the SSRs all over the track. I have joined this forum for a chance to talk to owners and decide if I should buy one or not. any info that could help out would be appreciated. Thanks, later

You'll find everybody on here very helpful. Might help if you had some specific questions. Also - you might want to try the search engine as there is a wealth of information in former threads. The vehicle certainly isn't perfect, but the good more than outweighs any of the problem areas. Welcome aboard. When do we get some Indy laps!!! :lol :lol

I joined this site 2 weeks ago to do some research like you. Just pick up a new 2005 silver. I found the exact model i wanted and i had to drive 300 mi. to get it. The 300 mi return trip was great no real rattles, no drips no problems. My face hurt from the smile i had for 5 hrs. The best part is GM is giving another $ 2k off the employee price. It started today. Yesterday was suppose to be the last day of the employee discount but they extended that and with another $2k off buy it now... Chevy has a great web site to locate the exact car and what the dealers have on hand. Prices are accurate to the penny. hope to see you as a member..

yo,
i did some searches on the website and am going to take a testdrive this afternoon. so far i definately have liked what i have seen, and to answer your question, there is a community day at the Indy motor speedway. it is the same week as the brickyard 400, and anyone can drive their car around the track for 5 bucks. not a bad deal! thanks
