With the addition of an imported Californian, the second TOSSR (Texas Owners of SSR's) run doubled the last run a few months ago. We met over TexMex on the Riverwalk on Friday night and decided on a route. We went from San Antonio to Fredricksburg and shopped a bit. Then on to Wimberley via Johnson City and Blanco. Had a late lunch in Wimberley and then back to SA. Comely peeled off and headed back to Fort Worth on the way. Looking forward to another evening with new friends (Lloger's flames are AWESOME). Here's a prelimnary pic.

BTW - on the way out of town heading West on I-10 this am - we saw a Redline on the north feeder heading East. Anybody from here??

We had a great time and meeting Lloyd and Gerry and James Comley was great. Even though it rained late in the day on Sat we had a great drive and view in the Texas Hill Country.

When my hubby and I left Sunday, we found a great curvy road that was a little out of the way but we will have to hook up on that next time.
Sorry you couldn't make it Richard and Moonlightcruz!

I need to take mine down to the Hill Country some Sunday,(the only day I have off). My grandparents used to own a farm down near Lampasas. It's a pretty drive, and not too far away! :thumbs

Kerrville is MUCH nicer than Lampasas, but that would make a GREAT weekend trip, especially when the Blue Bonnets are in bloom! :thumbs

We're home!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hi all. We arrived safely back in SoCal about 1 PM today, Thurs. March 10th. Had a great trip, and it was great meeting Houtex and Mrs. Houtex, Wildcat 66 and Jaun, and James Comely. Enjoyed every minute of our stay in San Antonio, even with the rain, and would like to thank you again for the Texas hospitality. We traveled a total of 3,251 miles, actual driving time 55 hrs. 16 mins. and averaged exactly 20 miles per gallon over the whole trip. We only saw 4 SSR's on the road. It was a long trip but well worth it. Now I've gotta get all the bugs and road junk off to get ready for Kingsburg in a week and a half. Probably spend two days catching up on all the posts.

Just got back from Lafayette tonight. In the last week and a half, I put 1900 miles on mine (AND I DIDN'T GET TO GO TO CALIFORNIA). Great to meet you and Gerry and James. As always, Machell is a hoot --
