Hitch ball rod and wiring

I bought my new SSR about a month ago. Its a 2004 red one. I was putting the rear licence plat on and noticed it has a hidden reciever. I can't find the ball rod and wiring. Must one purchase the parts or are they supposed to be included? The window sticker states: trailer hitch and wiring; as standard equipment.

Thanks for all the help gentlemen. My dealer was still trying to figure it out. He was about ready to furnish the ball rod free! I should have let him as the thing is almost $300.00?

I just purchased the ball rod from my dealer parts department. GM part #15110022 listed for $295.00. You will need a ball and the trailer wiring connector to fit your trailer. My dealer had the part in a week. No deposit. The wiring installation should run about an hour labor time for your area.
