I've been looking for over a month for 2005 mor 06 SSR with miles under 60K. I swear in last week word got out and both years are now going to $32+K! Did I miss something other than article naming SSR as one of best 25 sports vehicles?

I listed an 05 Redline Red for one of our Oklahoma guys recently. It's is in nice shape. You might want to check it out. There's also a Ricochet Silver 05 that I put out there for a member that just passed. Both of these SSR's have had excellent care. Either of the cars can probably be bought in the low $30's.

Maybe it's my age, but I swear couple weeks ago 2005-6 SSRs under 60K could be found $24-27K range.

@Bozowing, Have you looked at the "SSR's for Sale on this Forum? They are well cared for and have some of the Upgrades already done. Meantime---Welcome from Forney Texas. AND go ahead and Consider clicking on the Colored Letter/Picture, top far right corner, go down to "Account Settings", click, and fill in your information now. Especially your LOCATION and the year of your SSR, when you get one, like the rest of us. Then go the the left side and click on "Signature". Also put the year of your SSR, when you get it, in your "Signature", and anything else you want to show in your posts, under your Avatar, and we can help you better if you have a problem. When you finish click the "SAVE" box.

Found this one here in Houston, what should I look for with 2004s? https://www.txautogroup.com/inventory/Chevrolet/SSR/105739-TR/
You want to look for how well you like it and what you might want to update/fix.

All the years are roughly the same with regard to maintenance issues and upgrades. As far as looks, all the years look the same minus a little square badge. There is a laundry list of things to look at depending on if you are looking for something pristine and low mileage or a project.

The thing that catches my eye about the one you posted is that it looks nice with reasonable mileage. It does look like it is “sitting tall”, like perhaps it has Trailblazer shocks on it, I’d have to look.

I’ll send you a PM with my contact info if you’d like to talk to another Pearland member.

I agree with @TXNSSR it seems to looks nice, but it may be riding high.

Besides the wear on interior, (seats & door panels)

I also noticed the following:
Missing front air dam
Missing rear suspension bumps stops
Rear shocks have been replaced
Drop down access cover on cargo cover has a different hinge and latch, this might be why it doesn't close correctly.
Front and rear tires are differnt brands.

Most would would not be deal breakers, ride height would bother me most and may be most expensive to correct.

Good idea to have another fanatic to inspect.
